Who we are

Elite Fridge Repairs is a local fridge and freezer repair business run by Michael here in Adelaide's north. When you get in touch, you are dealing with a sole trader, not a call centre.

This policy explains, in plain words, what we do with your information when you call us or fill in the quote form on this website.

What we collect

When you use the callback form, we collect the details you give us:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address (if you choose to add it)
• Your suburb or postcode
• The appliance and whether it is domestic or commercial
• A short description of what the appliance is doing
• How you would prefer we contact you

When you land on this site from one of our ads, the form also quietly records advertising click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) and campaign tags (utm parameters) in hidden fields. These tell us which ad brought you here. They are not personal details about you.

Our website host also keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address and browser type, the same as almost every website does.

Why we collect it

Three plain reasons:

1. To call you back about your repair.
2. To book the job and turn up prepared.
3. To measure which advertising actually brings us work, so we are not wasting money.

Where it goes

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and delivered to our email inbox. When you click to call us or successfully send the form, an anonymous conversion event is shared with Google Ads as aggregated measurement, so we can see that an ad led to an enquiry. That does not tell Google who you are.

We do not sell your personal information. Full stop. We do not hand it to marketing lists or third parties who are not helping us do the repair.

How long we keep it

We keep your details as long as we need them for your job and our own records. For anything that forms part of our tax records, we keep it for 5 years, as the ATO requires. After that it is no longer needed and gets cleared out.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can:

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or delete it if we no longer need it.
• Make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you are not happy with how we have handled your information.

Just ask and we will sort it out.

Cookies and tracking

We keep this simple. There is no cookie banner because we do not run analytics cookies or tracking pixels beyond what Google Ads needs to measure a call or a form submission. We are not building a profile on you or following you around the web.
